Great but..
There are only so many areas to VQ
If given a new area daily, they would have to start repeating areas pretty quickly.

Personally, I'm not going to go back and re-VQ and area that I've already done just for some zcoins.

Maybe weekly..Dunno.

There are plenty of zquests that have come up where I've gone 'ehhh, not worth the effort' - and only a couple that I've gone and picked up with all ten characters.

And theres tons of PvP quests. And 69 possible missions is soooo much more then 136 area's you can vanquish. And if the reward is large enough yeah I'll go revanq every last one of those areas.
The only zquest that has a truly large pool of possibilities are the bosses.

the idea is good, but i already VQ's all the places... so i wouldnt really wanna revanq.... But /signed for other people cuz the idea is nice ;-)

Weekly would be great. 2 Copper per foe , 2 more if you VQ without PVE skills and 4 more per foe if theres only TWO member per prof. I would lol at dumb discorders :_D .

/signed for those that didn't get the legendary vanquisher title.
Even if reward is not existant (doesn't require a zaishen reward), anything focusing players would help people to meet daily for a new vanquish.

So an area with 200 monsters (not the largest by any stretch, but most have at least that many) would give you between 400 and 1600 copper z coins? That is WAY too many. 105 should be the most you get from a Vanquish, but I'm not sure they really should do this. I wouldn't mind if they did, as it would give me a reason to do some vanquishing on other characters, but for me its a /meh.

Vanquish and Challenge Missions could really use a Zaishen quest.
And challenge missions Zquest should be repeatable quests like PvP ones.

Of course, on the provision that it is a separate set of quests from Zaishen Combat, et al (so you can have up to three at a time).

I'd be inclined to prefer it being a daily.

Make things more interesting:

VANQUISHING
- You gain 1 copper coin per 5 enemies.
So that means you get 60 coins for 300 enemies.

- You gain 15 copper coins per boss.
Most area's have more than 5 bosses, that's another 65 coins.

- Bonus: if YOU don't use PvE-only skills and consumables YOU gain another 75 coins.


So you probably gain around 200 coins for vanquishing an area. Vanquishing isn't hard and many people would like to join for this.

Most area's are vanquished faster than the latter Tyrian missions so I think the rewards fit in like this.

I love vanq. Already did all the vanquisher titles. Still need a bit EOTN though.

I would really like it as a lil more motivation for both vanquishing and z-quests.

Secondary bonuses could be:
- Kill a boss within the first X minutes.
- Kill X number foes within Z minutes.
- Don't die (Or if it's too tough: Don't die before having killed X amount of monsters).
- Finish vanquish in X minutes.
- Giving x amount of coins per x amount of monsters killed (Like 10 coins for a boss and 10 coins for every 25 kills) instead of a fixed amount of coins.

yeah i like this idea plus the number of rewards points isnt over the top, ~100-125 per area plus 75 for no PvE/Cons used.
It means you wouldnt be looking for a different Con/No Con/PvE skill/No PvE skill groups either as the rewards are based solely on what you do.

There are 58 Missions and 121 vanquishable areas. I'm more worried about missions repeating every 2 months than vanqs repeating every 4.


10 coins per 25 kills sounds good, 5 coins a kill as someone suggested could yield an average of 1000 bronze coins a vanq! However, the coins would have to be awarded at the rewards NPC to avoid farming. I'd look foward to this, as I plan I doing cantha and tyria vanqs this summer.

For the sake of simplicity, I'd suggest that there just be a flat reward for vanquishing an area. Make it a per-area basis so that the harder ones give more of a reward.

when z missions were announced i thought they would be new quests small missions added not already exsisting ones.

it would be cool to see a quest z npc. Do all those side non primary quests.

Light areas
10 for boss
25 extra for boss HM
70 extra for VQ
105 total

Hard areas
20 for boss
50 extra for boss HM
105 extra for VQ
175 total


Sounds good to me, just add it to the bounty list. I did a couple of vanquishes anyway with the bounties, this would give an even greater incentive to keep doing this. No need for a copper-per-foe reward, the gold and experience from normal vanquishing is already scaled.

This isn't a bad idea, actually. Now that more and more people have their heavy bags, it's not going to be easy to keep people interested in Zaishen quests. I know I've vanquished a few areas because by the time I reached the boss, I'd cleared half the area already. :P Having a reward for area clears would be a nice incentive.
